My books are currently closed and will be reopening for new submissions at Thorns Tattoo in Oakland in Spring 2026!

I split my year between the Bay Area from January-May and NYC in July-November. Hopefully we can work together soon!

RATE

My hourly rate is $200/hour for flash projects and I have a $300 minimum.

My day rate is a flat $950/session until the design has been outlined. Once I move into the shading stage of your project, I can switch back into my $200/hr rate and I am happy to accommodate half day sessions at this phase.

The $950 full day rate includes: consultation time, drawing done in advance, 1-4 hours of freehand drawing or stencil placement in the beginning of your appointment and up to 5 hours of tattooing time. If we tattoo beyond 5 hours, I will charge hourly for the extra time. I usually tattoo 4-5 hours per full day session, but the day rate applies whether you sit for 1 hour or 5.

For flash projects without a price listed and charged at the hourly rate, I'm happy to give a time estimate based on the size and placement you choose.

We are a cash-only shop!!! Please be prepared ahead of time!

DEPOSIT

Please be prepared to send a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment as soon as soon as you receive an acceptance email from me in the days and week after submitting.

Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis via a booking app, and delay may cause you to lose out on available openings. If you have not booked an appointment within 48 hours of the acceptance email or have not reached out, your spot will be offered to the next person in line.

I am happy to provide an estimate beforehand & if you list a budget in the submission form, I will do my best to work within that.

DESIGN & PROCESS

In this booking round I am open to taking on medium & large-scale custom projects.

Imagery I’m very excited about:

+abstract shapes, especially forms spanning large scale

++Underworld/Guardian/Journeying imagery: ie. beetles, centipedes, spiders, vultures, cormorants, snakes, jellyfish, eels, poisonous plants 

+++I love getting nerdy with animals/plants so feel free to get specific with native flora/fauna!
